Why climb to one university when you can do two? Join Toby on his inaugural ride that takes you to the top of both SFU and UBC, places of higher learning where you can grow muscles in addition to brain cells. Pace will average in the mid 20kms/hr. Make sure you bring a bike in good working order, tools for basic repairs, and the ability to use them. In the event of rain, this ride will be canceled; check the website 2 hours before the start.

Meet: 9AM at Commercial and 6th Ave

Route: click here but subject to change. Note the ride ends at 22nd Ave Skytrain.

Numbers will be limited. RSVP the leader if you plan to attend to ensure there’s availability.

A real century ride is 100 miles, so consider this 100km+ ride a wannabe century. This ride explores the backroads of the Fraser Valley. Pace will be in the mid-20kms/hr. The route was taken from somewhere, so credit does not belong to me, especially if you don’t like the ride. There will be stops for food and biobreaks, but bring sufficient water bottles especially if it’s hot. Budget 2hr+ if you plan to take transit to the start. Have a bike in good working order, and tools you know how to use. Please keep at least 1m distance from others at all times.

Meet: 930AM Aldergrove Regional Park NE corner, dogpark parking lot (27240 8 Ave, Aldergrove, BC V4W 2P8)
