Sunday Nov 8 Alouette Lake (medium)

Limit number of riders due to COVID (Please email me to attend.)
The Ride: The ride goes from the end of the Evergreen Skytrain line – Lafarge Lake. The sun will be shining as we meander through verdant countryside of Pitt Meadows. Following this along a babbling brook on our way through the forest to azure lake at the end. We will stop for a picnic (bring your own food) before returning to our start point.
Bring tools/spares in case of flats. Keep an eye on the website 2hrs before the ride for possible cancellation in the event of rain/snow/ice/riots due to US election.

Many thanks to Colin for leading another lovely ride, this time into Maple Ridge. We enjoyed quiet backroads, with big mountain views in the background and bright red blueberry fields and horse paddocks in the foreground. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish the ride due to a freak back injury. Thanks, Faye, for keeping me company while help arrived. No photos this time-you’ll just have to come out on a ride to see it for yourself.
Lucky for you, David took photos to preserve the ride for posterity: https://photos.app.goo.gl/rPxmPHW92N9fd1D88
Thanks, David!
