Update Dec 16: Unless you’re equipped with a sled pulled by dogteam or reindeer, and maybe a harpoon, it’s unlikely you’ll go very far, if forecasts for snow are correct. Time to shelve this ride for warmer days.

Continuing our sampling of charming trails, this ride links some of those in Surrey and Delta, the highlights being Semiahmoo and North Delta Greenway. Unfortunately, connecting them entails riding on busy streets and along a section of King George Blvd under construction. Be prepared for stretches of both gravel and road, with the strong possibility of slippery leaves. Pace will be relaxed. Bring a bike with wider tires, and tools for flats. lunch will be in White Rock. I did this on 32mm tires, no problem. Note: the start and end of the ride are in different locations!
