Saturday September 25: Edgemont Village Ride (Short Medium)
The Ride: Let’s tackle the North Shore while it’s still warm enough to sit outside. The rolling bellies enter the wilds of North Van in search of good coffee. If you plan to buy coffee, don’t forget your mask. We’ll break at Delaney’s in Edgemont Village before descending down, down, to the Spirit Trail . Home is via Lions Gate bridge and Prospect point. The ride is short, but there is a long climb, hence the medium designation. Bring your gears and climbing legs. This ride is weather-dependent. Keep your eye on this website and Whatsapp for updates.

Excellent ride, excellent weather, excellent company…thanks Teresa!
11 people attended this ride, eager to take advantage of the calm before the storm, rain storm that is, forecast for the few days. Edgemont is a bustling little place, but a nice for a coffee stop. All the new bike lanes in North Van, made the ride out that much nicer. A few of us splintered off to ride out to Whytecliff Park, which was a welcome detour in summer-like weather. Thanks to the group for waiting for me and to Colin for the suggestion. Now to spend the rest of the weekend recovering from it.
