Saturday March 25 – New West Ride – Easy Medium
Be sure to check the website the morning of the ride as my smart phone has turned dumb, and cannot access WhatsApp.
Let’s try this again.
I have it on good authority Taqueria Playa Tropical in New West has good food and vibes. Let’s go there for lunch! This restaurant gets crazy busy and does not take reservations. Lunch back up is Tamarind Hill or Wild Thyme. Pace and terrain will be leisurely, going out on the BC Parkway and back on the Central Valley Greenway with gorgeous views of the Brunette River. All manner of rider and bike is welcome.
Meet: 10AM at JJ’s Cafe on Commercial and 6th Ave
Route: click here. Minus 6km from total distance of 43km since we’re starting further east.
RSVP the ride Leader: Teresa
The weather gods cooperated with the 9 of us as we climbed our way up the BC Parkway and coasted back down into the Central Valley. There were a few drops of rain in New West, but everyone steeled their weather-beaten nerves and pressed on. That’s what happens when you bring your waterproofs-you don’t use them. Good Mexican food was had at Taqueria Playa Tropical. No mechanical or any other issues arose, yay!
Sharon renewed her membership, welcome.
