Sunday May 26 – Boundary Bay (leisure)
This ride will go rain or shine, but hopefully shine.
The Ride: This ride follows the shore of Boundary Bay through a major bird habitat and is a nature lover’s dream. Last time we did this ride all manner of wildlife was seen. Ride 18km on gravel into Tsawwassen for a snack, then back to Mud Bay. It’s not all gravel, just mostly, which is a totally different thing. Be prepared for at least 200m of pavement.
Bring tools/spares in case of flats. Ride cancellation will be posted 3 hours before the start of the ride. Let ride leader know if you can provide carpool in your vehicle.

Meet: Mud Bay Park at 10AM, address 13030 – 48 Avenue, Surrey BC.
Ride coordinator: Colin
If you are looking for an early start and some extra kms, Will will be riding to the start via Alex Fraser Bridge at a medium ride pace leaving from Arbutus Coffee (W. 6th Ave at Arbutus St) at 7:30am and will be crossing the Skytrain bridge around 8:10am. Be ready to roll at these times, as will want to get to Mud Bay for the start.
Many thanks to Colin for leading 13 of us along the water to Tsawwassen and back to Mud Bay. It was a sunny and fun event, even while vibrating along the coarse gravel. Members showed off their super hero selves: Dorothy, Colin and Tobey helped someone fix their flat. Pat, Will, and David flexed their quads, riding out to the start and then home again.
A big welcome back to Justine. Check out Whatsapp for photos.
