Saturday January 29 Billy Miner Pub … medium
The Ride: The ride leaves Braid Street Skytrain, winds it way to the Coquitlam river (no paddle needed), across to the Pitt River Bridge and by the airport to the Billy Miner Pub.. After a beverage or two, (and perhaps a bite to eat), We will return via Abernathy Way, Mary Hill Bypass to United Boulevard to return to Braid. It’s a leisurely medium ride.
Bring tools/spares in case of flats. Keep an eye on the website for possible cancellation in the event of rain/snow/ice.

Meet: Braid St Skytrain station at 10:30. (We don’t want to get there before the pub opens.)
Distance: about 65km
Ride coordinator: RSVP Colin
Many thanks, Colin for leading the group of 6 into the suburban wilds for beer and river views. It was great to catch up with members we hadn’t seen for a while. Conditions were chilly, but dry and even sunny. It wasn’t a difficult ride, so the copious tasty food at Billy Miner probably wasn’t justifiable, but welcome all the same. At the end, we splintered off madly in all directions. I’m happy to report the gravel trail connecting Braid Skytrain to CVG is much improved, doable on skinny tires.
