Sunday March 26 Minnekhada (medium)
The Ride: Leaves JJ Bean on Commercial and 6th, heads west till we get onto “THE BARNETT”, always a quick spin. Then through Port Moody and Coquitlam to Minnekhada. We will be having a picnic lunch by the lake. REMEMBER TO BRING A LUNCH!! We return via Mary Hill to 22nd St Skytrain station. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS THE START,

Thanks to Colin for leading this ride to Minnekhada Lodge, the road to which was closed all summer due to bear encounters. A shame, as the area is lush and scenic in the spring and summer. Welcome back, Kelly, who hasn´t lost his edge despite being away for months running marathons or away from my personality. Regardless, the four of us stayed tight, had no flats, and got home before 2pm.
