Monday Sept 2- Labour Day Potluck

Calling all members and past members, you’re all invited. Come out and get re-acquainted. Email me if you have questions or just to say “Hi”.
Get out your aprons and best cooking pots. Let’s have another one of this annual gourmand ride. I use the word “ride” rather liberally as this now seems to be more about the food. In the past we’ve had more than 20 “riders”, let’s see if we can do better this year. Bring the food you’d like to share with everyone, there always seems to be a great mix whether it’s salads, appetizers, desserts, etc. The company is always the best.
Remember to bring plates and cutlery for yourselves.

Meet: 10:30 AM Canada Line Bridge (North side, Kent Ave at Ash)
Contact: Colin if you have any questions (no RSVP necessary)
Thanks Colin for a fun ride Great to see everybody. And the food was magnificent. I ate so much that I won’t be able to have dinner until tomorrow morning! Amazing chefs
Thanks also to Dorothy For taking a load off and transporting food. I am sorry she didn’t ride 🙁
A big thanks to Colin for leading this highly anticipated annual potluck ride, which is always a success. In case it wasn’t, he brought a giant tow rope to keep members in line. Great food, everyone! Weather conditions were perfect and views of Vancouver Island could be seen from the dyke trail. Thanks for the great photos, Paula, visible on Whatsapp. I lost count of the people after ten, as I ran out of visible digits.

Many thanks to Colin for organizing this ride of 16 people on this rolling gastronomy party. The dyke trail was as scenic as ever. The food was good-the dungeness crabs with melted butter really raised the bar. Thanks, Michael! The talking carried onto the north side of Canada Line bridge on the way home. We’re either complete chatterboxes or the company was that good.
