Saturday, July 15 UBC Richmond Loop (Medium)
This is a mostly flat ride with some climb in the beginning and end. There will be  peaceful pastoral and awesome river views. The long open stretches will call to the inner roadie in us all. We will take a break at Tugboat Annie’s.
Meet: Â Terra Breads at the Olympic Village
Time: Â Â 8:00 AM
Route:  distance is approx 100 km here
Bring: Â Snacks and bike maintenance tools
Leader: Â Faye
Great ride today. Thanks Faye,
Lewis
The eight of us started out bright and early for the mostly flat ride. After the UBC climb and a few uphill sections due to the SW Marine detour, there were mumblings from the back, “where’s the mostly flat section?” The endless kilometres of straight pavement soon appeared and everyone was happy once again. After the official ride, two riders decided to complete the century by going back around UBC!
It’s nice to have Kelly back from his 2 months of Asian gastronomic adventures. All that good food didn’t slow him down much.
Thanks to Colin for leading us through the SW Marine detour section. Thank you to everyone for coming out for the ride.
